NOTES:
This show is EPIC! They played so many new songs as well as very rare performances of "Acid Rain" and "Surfin' Bird" Fortunately for us there is a complete pre-FM professionally mixed recording available on CDR. It is also available from Global Satellite Networks via the Rolling Stone Magazine Live From The Pit series, though incomplete, which was broadcast over FM. The CDs sounds fantastic.
Additionally there is an audience shot video available on YouTube with audio from the camera microphones. The video is nice. It was recorded from the stage left balcony with a Canon A1D Hi8 [1/2″ CCD, 410,000 pixels (380,000 effective pixels)] with Hi-Fi Stereo sound.

We're lucky to have it though it isn't without some issues like automatic white balance, the auto out-of-focusness, and some type of zoom and effects. Here is what the taper has to say:
"To shoot this video, [I] brought the camera inside a metal box and I sat on the box, in the front of the balcony (shooting below the glass), for the whole show. It was very uncomfortable, but I was boxed-in by people all around and above me - which hid pretty-much everything but the lens! (I had a photo pass, and before 9/11, they didn't ask to look inside a camera bag/box)."
The taper has since created an edited copy that is horizontally stretched to "15x9" according to him. This is to compensate for the odd angle at which it was shot. The original video seems to be vertically stretched or horizontally squeezed. This new version fixes that and also adds the pre-FM soundborad audio. He addresses this in notes section of the link below.
